Ok, so the first bit of DC news for you today is that James Wan’s Aquaman is set to be a Christmas present!
Yes, the movie’s new release date is December 21st 2018, pushed back two months from October 5, 2018. Aquaman for Christmas? Works for us…
Anyway, it seems that with Aquaman filming this year, DC/Warners are keen to film something else this year.
But, before anyone panics, according to Variety reporter Justin Kroll, they won’t set anything to film unless the script is right (See his Tweets below).
Apparently they have Gotham City Sirens, The Flash, Green Lantern, Suicide Squad 2 and Dark Universe (the Justice League Dark movie) in their sights to film if time and script permit.
These are all movies we are very keen to see, but we pray that, as much as we loved Suicide Squad, they give the movies the time they deserve to be as good as possible before rushing in front of the cameras.
With all these movies at various stages of pre-production, we could have an announcement of filming soon.
What do you all think? Let us know….
With BATMAN likely shooting in 2018, WB still would like one more DC property to shoot this year other than AQUAMAN

The 5 films being considered are SIRENS, FLASH, LANTERN, SQUAD 2 and DARK UNIVERSE.

That said if scripts aren’t ready to go, studio is content just shooting AQUAMAN this year till films are ready to go
