It was a big yesterday for shows ending it seems, with the news that The Walking Dead was coming to an end (here) and now the news that Supernatural has filmed its last day of filming, wrapping up 15 years of monster hunting.
The stars of the series took to various social medias (below) to give their fond farewells to each other and the fans.
“Well, here goes… I write this as I head to my last day of #Supernatural,” wrote star Jared Padalecki, “My last day with #SamWinchester. Obviously, my head is spinning and my emotions are stratospheric, but there’s still a bit of time left on the clock. Thank y’all SO MUCH for the incredible amount of love and support that’s been headed our way, in these final hours. It’s definitely been felt. I’ll check in soon, but, for now, #WeHaveWorkToDo.”
