Earlier this month, I reported that Scream 7 co-writer and director Kevin Williamson had revealed that there was a few imaginative kills that he hadn’t put in the new movie because he was holding them back for the eighth movie.
Indeed, going back as far as May last year, Scream 8 was reportedly already greenlit, although this was later debunked.
Well, now, the star of the franchise and hands down our favourite final girl, Sidney Prescott/Neve Campbell has hinted at an eighth movie in the series too.
In a new interview with TF1 Info News (bottom), Campbell was asked about the chances of Scream 8 to which she replied that she can’t discuss Scream 8 because it would ruin the end of Scream 7.

I have heard rumoured before that this might be the first movie in the Scream series to end on a cliffhanger, leading directly into an eighth movie. Going even further, I have also heard that this is the start of a trilogy to wrap up Sidney’s story, and it’s beginning to look like whatever happens, this isn’t going to be the last in the series (yes!).
And that’s not even including the still-in-planning Kirby spinoff movie.
So, more Ghostface coming after the end of Scream 7?
