Eggers, at a special presentation for Werwulf, revealed why he decided his next movie wouldn’t be a horror.
He explained: “After Werwulf I was writing another horror movie and it got so dark again that I was like, ‘I need a break,’ so I’ll just do something about 2 teenagers killing themselves.”
