Harrison Ford expresses interest in Indiana Jones 5…..again

August 7th, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

While we await the official word that the 71 year old legend is set to reprise his role as Han Solo, Ford is once again talking about his other iconic role. While Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull disappointed most people, it hasn’t stopped talk of a fifth installment of the franchise. Back in March Ford said he would be open to reprising the roles of Solo, Jones, and even Deckard as long as the projects were ambitious.

It seems he back at it as far as Indy is concerned. Here’s what he had to say in a recent interview with The telegraph:

“We’ve seen the character develop and grow over a period of time and it’s perfectly appropriate and okay for him to come back again with a great movie around him where he doesn’t necessarily have to kick as much ass. To me, what was interesting about the character was that he prevailed, that he had courage, that he had wit, that he had intelligence, that he was frightened and that he still managed to survive. That I can do.”

There’s no word on whether there are any plans for another movie.

Would you like to see a fifth Indiana Jones movie? Or do you think this should be one of those franchises they just leave alone?
