COMIC REVIEW: FTN reviews Flash #28

March 6th, 2014 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Writer: Brian Buccellato

Artist: Patrick Zircher

Flash has a few friends watching his back, and I’m guessing right now he’s pretty grateful that that friend was Deadman.

Buccellato continues to shine as he characters Barry in a pretty awesome way. I like seeing the Flash team up with other people and heroes, I feel like he hasn’t been able to do it all the much, outside the Justice League. Ghost stories are never good if they’re too complicated, so I like the simplicity of this thus far. I also like Patty’s lines to Frye. That’s a storyline I hope to be uncovered soon, even though I think I already know how it’s going to end.

My only complaint I guess, is that I feel like this issue was super quick read. Not too sure why, I mean the story was carried on, but it was over before I realized it. And that last page? That was AWESOME. I really can’t wait until the next installment.

Patrick Zircher continues to make his own way as the Flash artist and I’m thoroughly enjoying his work. There were a few times some faces were a little weird, but it was more or less unnoticeable, and didn’t take away from the story or other art.

Now this ghost is REALLY hitting close to home for Barry. Any way him or his coworkers can get out of this one unscathed?
