Some monster news from New York Comic Con this weekend as it seems the Justice League are set to lock horns with the Monsterverse again in Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong 2! Yes!
Following on from the much better than it had any right to be Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong from Brian Buccellato was a big hit for DC Comic and Legendary Pictures but I never thought it would get a sequel, yet here we are!

This new title, it was revealed, will feature Lex Luthor, the Suicide Squad and will see the DC characters crossing into the Monsterverse this time instead of the monsters coming into the DC universe like it did first time around. The new series will see Killer Croc become a Titan in the Monsterverse – as seen above fighting Kong – and will feature such famous monsters as Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra.
Most exciting of all, it was also confirmed that Lee Shaw, played by Wyatt and Kurt Russell in the Monarch TV series, will meet Lex Luthor and will have a role in this new story.
Honestly, as a fan of DC and the Monsterverse, this has me more giddy than it has any right to!

The new comic book wasn’t the only big Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong news as we also got our first look at McFarlane Toys’ line of action figures based on the title, kicking off with Kong and Batman. Although not confirmed, we fully expect a Godzilla and Superman set and Mechagodzilla and Wonder Woman… this is exciting news as I’ve been waiting for an affordable (and detailed) Monsterverse range to arrive, so these sets are on my must-buy. Also, while Kong stands around 12 inches and Batman about 6 inches, it also has a 3 inch Batman figure, which is closer in scale to the Titan Kong and looks great in the Ape’s hand!
