After our story yesterday about the possible Star Wars Live-action TV series coming soon, it looks like there’s more foreshadowing of just how interlinked the universe will become, spanning games, TV, movies, books, comics and beyond.

Our friends over at the Star Wars Underworld are reporting that Paul S Kemp’s upcoming novel Lords of the Sith will have a character introduced, Moff Delian Mors, who will be, as we reported a while back (here), LGBT but also one who Disney seem to have big plans for: “I’ve had two independent sources tell me that the Lucasfilm story group has plans for Delian Mors, plans that includes a big screen appearance, and possible outing in a live-action series. The primary thing I’ve heard is that Lucasfilm really wants to include Mors in one of the Star Wars spin-offs. My sources couldn’t say specifically which standalone film, but were under the impression it could be Rogue One.”

Could this possibly tie into the casting news yesterday that Dark Knight Rises actor Ben Mandelsohn is in talks for a role (here)? Who knows, but whatever happens, the idea of Star Wars becoming fully immersive is one that we really, really like…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
