Next-gen Tomb Raider sequel on the way

August 2nd, 2013 by Marc Comments

Popular game franchise Tomb Raider is to get a sequel to its 2013 reboot, only this time on next-generation consoles.

Square Enix CEO Phil Rogers announced in a blog post that his firm is working on the follow-up game.

“I am also excited to reveal that we are well into development on a next-generation Tomb Raider sequel – something you may have heard about recently,” he said.

The sequel was alluded to at San Diego Comic-Con when it was announced writer Gail Simone will be writing an ongoing comic book series that will bridge the gap between the 2013 game and its sequel.

Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife.
