Tarantino has ideas for two more stories from the world of Kill Bill

With Kill Bill being on everyone’s mind and mouth right now, writer Quentin Tarantino has discussed further entries in the world of Beatrix Kiddo that could, potentially, happen.

Speaking last week at the Epic Games at the release of The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge reveal at the Vista Theater in Los Angeles. Tarantino hinted that The Bride’s story, or, more accurately, world, is still one worth revisiting.

We’ve known for several years that Tarantino had plans for a sequel set some ten or fifteen years later with Vernata Green’s four-year-old daughter Nikki, who witnessed The Bride murdering her mother, coming after her for revenge, heck, the movie even has a line hinting at the possibility.

But it seems that, while that idea continues to cook, Tarantino has another spinoff in mind: “I’ve got other things to do. I have a whole Kill Bill idea in my mind but I was wiped out. I like the idea of a Bill origin. And the three godfathers that made Bill: Esteban Vihaio, Pai Mei, and Hattori Hanzo. Will I live long enough to do that? That remains to be seen.”

With much talk seeming to hint at Tarantino’s retirement from making movies, it seems more and more unlikely that either of these movies/spinoffs will ever happen, at least not with Tarantino behind the camera, but it’s still nice to think that the 61-year-old is still interested in returning to that story.

Thoughts? I know you have them and I wanna hear ’em…
