Well, this was unexpected.
Disney/Marvel has revealed that Disney+ series Wonder Man is getting a second season with stars Yahya Abdul Mateen II and Ben Kingsley returning as Simon Williams and Trevor Slattery, as can be seen in the posters above and below.
Creators Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest will return as showrunner/executive producer and director/executive producer, respectively
While I must admit I have not had a chance to watch season one yet, I have heard many good things, so I will be getting to it as soon as I get a chance. The series joins Loki and Daredevil: Born Again as a Disney+ MCU series with a second season at least so far.

During a chance meeting with Trevor Slattery (Kingsley), an actor whose biggest roles may be well behind him, Simon learns legendary director Von Kovak (Zlatko Burić) is remaking the superhero film ‘Wonder Man.’ These two actors at opposite ends of their careers doggedly pursue life-changing roles in this film as audiences get a peek behind the curtain of the entertainment industry.
