Ted Lasso officially coming back for another season

It looks like it’s time to get the ‘Believe’ banner again as Ted Lasso is officially returning for a fourth season at Apple TV+.

And after a disappointing season 3, it’s good to know star Jason Sudeikis and the gang are getting another bite of the cherry.

While there’s only sketchy details right now, Sudeikis is back as Ted and his mustache is fully expected to return as well. Rumours recently also circulated that Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift are set to return but nothing is set in concrete as of yet.

Sudeikis said in a statement: “As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap, in season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be.”

Whatever that means.

“We — along with countless fans around the globe — have been rooting for another season, and it is an incredible feeling to be able to say, ‘Yes, it’s happening!’” said Channing Dungey, chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group and WBD US Networks.

While I often say that Ted Lasso is not the kind of show we normally cover here at FTN, the show became a beacon of hope during the dark days of the covid madness and for that reason, it has a place in my heart and I will always support if for that reason.

Thoughts? I wanna hear them…
