WATCH: Teaser hits for Severance season 2 along with air date

Adam Scott is back in Lumon Industries as Mark Scout and we finally know when season 2 is coming.

Yes, one of 2022’s greatest – and most baffling – shows returns soon as the first teaser (which is apt, isn’t it?) for Severance season 2 drops into out liminal hallways here at FTN HQ.

The series starting filming late in 2022 but with the writers’ strikes going on, it was pushed back and is only now seeing the light of day so if you’ve not seen season one, then get it watched in time for the second season, you can thank me later.

Scott recently teased on when season two will arrive: “Well, your patience doesn’t have to hold on too much longer.”

And while it’s not as soon as we hoped, it’s not that far as season 2 of Severance hits screens on January 17th, 2025!

Severance stars Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry and John Turturro as employees of a shady biotech company who “severs” its employees with a medical procedure, rendering their work and home lives completely separate. The cast also includes Patricia Arquette, Tramell Tillman, Christopher Walken, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus and Dichen Lachman. The series was created by Dan Erickson and is directed by executive producer Ben Stiller.
