We got the first poster yesterday and now we have a new poster and trailer for M Night Shyamalan’s horror/thriller The Visit.

And we really like the look of this, the trailer certainly looks like it has the tension and suspense. But Shyamlan has fooled  us before – cough, The Happening, cough. But we really hope he’s back on form…

Starring: Kathryn Hahn, Deanna Dunagan, Peter McRobbie,
Ed Oxenbould, Olivia DeJonge

Written and Directed by: M. Night Shyamalan

Produced by: M. Night Shyamalan, Jason Blum, Mark Bienstock

Executive Producers: Steven Schneider, Ashwin Rajan

Writer/director/producer M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable) and producer Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, The Purge and Insidious series) welcome you to Universal Pictures’ The Visit. Shyamalan returns to his roots with the terrifying story of a brother and sister who are sent to their grandparents’ remote Pennsylvania farm for a weeklong trip. Once the children discover that the elderly couple is involved in something deeply disturbing, they see their chances of getting back home are growing smaller every day.

Shyamalan produces The Visit through his Blinding Edge Pictures, while Blum produces through his Blumhouse Productions alongside Mark Bienstock (Quarantine 2: Terminal). Steven Schneider (Insidious) and Ashwin Rajan (Devil) executive produce the thriller.

Prepare to visit on September 11th, 2015

International trailer:

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
