We’ve heard for a while now that there would be one last big Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer revealed before the movie hits just before Christmas and now it looks like it might only be days away.
We’re hearing online that this Monday, October 19th, will see the release of the new trailer and quite possibly, along with it, the actual logo for the movie. Will it have Episode VII on it? WE really hope so.
Anyway, here’s what we’re hearing on where it’ll happen: “We believe the trailer will appear with a football game that evening, but that bit is only semi-confirmed but most likely dead on. I wish I had better sources on the sports scene but it isn’t my thing. We assume the trailer will be posted online moments after it is on television.”
We should expect an announcement this weekend if this does indeed turn out to be true… exciting times.
In related news, on a Today FM radio show this morning here in Ireland, Star Wars: The Journey To The Force Awakens Marvel comic artist, and friend to FTN, Will Sliney spoke about the secrecy around the characters, scripts etc and revealed that anything we see in ads, trailers etc pre-release will be taken from the first third of the movie and this was ordained by JJ Abrams himself.
That’s pretty cool…
