Looks like Sabretooth himself, Liev Schreiber, could be set for Wolverine 3

X-Men Origins: Wolverine was, in our opinion, the weakest X-Men movie of all time but it had some redeeming factors, chief among them being Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth.

At the Oscars, Schreiber was interviewed shortly after celebrating a Best Picture win for Spotlight, which saw him play the shy but determined Boston Globe editor Marty Baron. During the interview, with MTV, the actor said there had been discussions about him returning for the R-rated Wolverine sequel, due to be released next year.

“We talked about it. I don’t know. He’s mentioned it to me. The Old Man Logan story — that’s appealing. That’s something that I can do. Old, being the operative word.”

While it’s far from confirmation that he will indeed be appearing, it’s exciting that Hugh Jackman has been in contact with him about reprising the role. Would you be excited to see Sabretooth back for the Wolverine sequel?

The film is set to be released on March 2, 2017.
