If, like me, you love The Raid films starring Iko Uwais (he was briefly in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as Razoo Quin-Fee and can be seen below right from The Raid 2) then hold on to your hats because the trailer for his latest film is now online… and it looks as violent as we’d come to expect from the action star.
In Headshot, we see Uwais’s character Ismail wakes up from an injury having lost his memory, but slowly comes to realise that he is a trained killing machine. He’s nursed back to health by a woman he falls in love with, which becomes complicated once he starts having to battle a henchman with ties to a powerful drug lord.
The Indonesian film also stars Chelsea Islan, Julie Estelle, Zack Lee, Sunny Pang, Epy Kusnandar, David Lawrence and Very Tri Yulisman. No word on a release date yet but we’ll keep you posted.
