It looks like Kick Ass star Chloe Grace Moretz will not be starring in a live action version of The Little Mermaid after all.
THR is reporting that the 19-year-old has cancelled all her future film plans following a ‘come to Jesus’ moment.
“I’m realising that I can slow down,” she said. “So I pulled the plug on all my movies because I want to reassess who I am and find myself within my roles again.”
The young actress said the amount of work involved in making several movies a year was causing her to lose sight of why she started acting and instead focus on a film’s box office. She has already starred in 55 movies to date in her short life!
Morezt was in Toronto recently to premiere Criminals and Fire and will then hit the campaign trail for Hillary Clinton following her speech at the Democratic national convention in July.
