UPDATED: Nintendo has released details of its new forthcoming console – the Nintendo Switch.
It will be released next March and is a console/mobile hybrid that uses cartridges.
The video, below, seems to show a number of games including Mario Kart, Skyrim and NBA 2K.
ORIGINAL STORY: Nintendo has finally confirmed that details for its new console will be aired online today.
In a new tweet, the Japanese firm said that a new preview trailer for the console will arrive at 3pm UK time.
According to Eurogamer’s translation of Nintendo’s Japanese tweet, the video will be three minutes long, and “serve as Nintendo’s preliminary announcement of information regarding the platform”.
