While The CW’s DC shows have their highs and lows, it’s quickly become a pre-Christmas cause for excitement when the big crossover event approaches.
And this November we’re set for another massive event starring Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and the Legends of Tomorrow (sadly no Black Lightning… yet).
The CW have announced the schedule for this year’s crossover with the first two installments set to air on Monday, November 27th, when Supergirl and Arrow will team up. Then on November 28th, The Flash and the Legends of Tomorrow will join forces for the final two episodes. We’re assuming that all four shows will meet in the middle somewhere, even if only briefly.
According to The CW President Mark Pedowitzsaid: “Last year’s (crossover) was the most successful week in CW history in terms of ratings and everything. We felt in this particular case we had Flash on Legends paired, so it was better to make it two two-hour movies – a miniseries – we thought this was the best way to go. We had a lot of conversations with producers and marketing people. Next year, we might go back to four nights.”
Two two-hour DC movies a few weeks before Christmas? Seriously, what could be better?
