Look, there’s no point denying it, Tim Miller’s misogyny comments last week were a bit off-putting as we’ve all heard – and are getting sick of – this agenda-driven nonsense in modern movies. But from SDCC tonight there is some news that’s more encouraging.
Firstly, it’s been confirmed that Edward Furlong, who played John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, is back in this movie int he role… only now Furlong is 42!!!
Anyway, he’s joining his mother Sarah Connor – played by Linda Hamilton – again alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator and that has this fan excited.
The panel seemed very concerned with getting across that this is movie is a throwback to Terminator and T2 more than what came after.
Oh, and here’s a new featurette…
Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Natalia Reyes and Diego Boneta as two new human characters somehow caught up in the fight for both the future of mankind and the future of the Terminator franchise at Paramount Pictures.
Terminator: Dark Fate arrives in theaters on November 1, 2019.
