One of our favourite movies in some time was Nobody (review), the actioner starring Bob Odenkirk as a retired hitman forced out of retirement – seriously, if you’ve not seen it, go out of your way to do so.
And while it seems that the movie exists in the same universe as John Wick and something could come of that someday (here), we’ll have to settle for a sequel for now instead.
Director Ilya Naishuller says a sequel is in the works and this time out, Connie Nielsen will have more to do.
On the potential of the franchise, the director said: “There’s plenty of stories that can be told in this world, with the character Hutch. I know that [writer Derek Kolstad] has begun work on the sequel.”
However, he was quick to point out that, as of yet, nothing has been greenlit but if it’s being written then then someone asked for it and we’d bet that a sequel is coming, hopefully, sooner than later.
Did you like Nobody as much as us? Would you like to see a sequel? I want to hear your thoughts, gang.
