The trailer is finally here for Peacemaker season 2! The DCU is alive and kicking!
Taking place a month after the events of Superman, Peacemaker season 2 will see John Cena’s titular anti-hero travel to another universe where his other self is a respected hero and makes a better life for himself but it seems his friends believe that his world is where he belongs.
Is this going to explain why some events in the first season are canon while others aren’t? I’m going to say that it might just.

Other details confirmed at the panel:
• More ‘Superman’ characters will appear other than the Justice Gang
• Establishes there are at least 100 universes in the DCU
• Show is not for kids and it’s more extreme than S1
• Has James Gunn’s favorite soundtrack and includes an Ozzy Osbourne song
• Brand new opening dance sequence
• Cast chose E1, E6, and E8 as their favorite episodes — they were all directed by Gunn
• Michael Rooker plays an eagle hunter — ‘he’s basically Eagly’s Lex Luthor’
Peacemaker is an upcoming HBO Max action-comedy series based on the DC Comics villain of the same name. The series is produced by DC Entertainment and Troll Court Entertainment. It is a spin-off/sequel to The Suicide Squad and the first television series in the DC Extended Universe.
Peacemaker is a live-action series that follows Christopher Smith AKA Peacemaker, an extremist murderer who believes he’s on a quest for peace, killing anyone and everyone to achieve his ultimate goal. #Peacemaker
