Animation director Seth Kearsley has taken to X to announce his next big project…
Known for directing Eight Crazy Nights, Mummies Alive, Dilbert, Slacker Cats, Family Guy, Looney Tunes and more, Kearsley has revealed that he’s working with Marvel/Disney on a new installment of Marvel Zombies.
We learned in January this year that a second season of the Marvel animated series was planned and now it looks like it’s moving ahead.
Taking to social media, Kearsley wrote: “Just confirmed, I can say what I’m working on and nothing more. Marvel fucking Zombies!!! Couldn’t be more excited. Career full circle moment with The Maxx and Mummies Alive. No holds barred martial arts and gore”
The original series of Marvel Zombies aired in September last year and was a sequel of sorts to the Marvel: What If…? animated series and it was fun, if basically inconsequential to the overall MCU. That all being said, that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t watch another season of it.
If that’s what this is, because Kearsley didn’t confirm if it’s a series, a movie or something else, though I’d put money on it being a second season.
WATCH: Full trailer arrives for Laika’s new movie, Wildwood, and just wow…
Did you watch Marvel Zombies season 1? What did you think? Thoughts? I know you have them and I wanna hear ’em all.
After the Avengers are overtaken by a zombie plague, a desperate group of survivors discover the key to bringing an end to the super-powered undead, racing across a dystopian landscape and risking life and limb to save their world.
