Ghostbuster and Walking Dead: Survival Instincts Dev Terminal Reality Shut Down?

December 14th, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

It appears Terminal Reality the developer of FTN favorite ‘Ghostbusters: The Video Game have apparently closed their doors.
Gamasutra noticed an employ mourning the loss of the company on his personal Facebook page:

“TRI seems to have finally shut down,” wrote Jesse Sosa, a former artist at the studio who worked there for 10 years. “A lot of different emotions are passing through me at the moment. I left there when I saw things going downhill but I have always kept up with them and hoped for the best. Now that they’re gone, I’m just kind of feeling nostalgic.”

Other employees have joined the conversation talking about going to Austin to work with Wargaming Studio based there.

Nothing is official yet but with the severe critical panning from their most recent game The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct and the fact their Star Wars kinetic game bombed too I can’t say we are surprised.

We here at FTN are massive Ghostbusters fans and really enjoyed the game that Terminal Reality made.
If this news is true it means it could be a long time before we see another attempt at a Ghostbusters game and this is sad news indeed, with the third movie wavering in and out of development a game could really have tided us fans over.

We have reached out to Terminal Reality to confirm or deny this news.
