Remember three months or so ago when Quentin Tarantino threw his toys out of the pram when details of his latest script, Hateful Eight, was leaked (No? Ok, check here) and he was going to simply release it as a screenplay?
Well, for the sake of “Why’d I say that?!”, Tarantino did add that he “might” come back to it at some point in the future. Well, it looks like the future is indeed now.
At a one-off stage reading at the weekend at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, Tarantino, according to Darkhorizons, told the audience he was “working right now on a second draft” as the ending may well be totally removed or rewritten.
Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth, Kurt Russell, Amber Tamblyn, Bruce Dern, Walton Goggins, James Parks, Michael Madsen and James Remar (pictured above) all attended the reading of the old west tale which sees eight people trapped in a haberdashery during a blizzard.
