July 1st, 2014 by Marc Comments

Sherlock, you tease… has ever a series left the sudience wanting more as much as Sherlock? “We’ll be back,” they tell us each season, “we ust don’t know when…

Well, John Watson himself, Martin Freeman has been chatting to the The Telegraph about when we might see him and Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock Holmes back on our screens: “I’m speaking off-message here; if this was New Labour I’d get fired – I think that might be for next Christmas. A Christmas special. That’s what I understand.”

He also said that filming will likely be in early 2015 due to his own schedule, co-star Benedict Cumberbatch’s schedule, and producer Steven Moffat’s Doctor Who commitments. He can confirm though that Mary (Amanda Abbington) is on the show “for the foreseeable future”.

But will it be a one-off or another three-episode season? We’ll tell you more as we hear it…
