Miles Morales To Appear in Ultimate Spider-Man Cartoon

August 26th, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

When it comes to comics, there are a few very high honors a fan can have. One is meeting your favorite writer/artist. Second is to be drawn into a comic (something I myself have had done). Third, and probably most high on the honor list, is to say you inspired a comic character.

The latter of those three is what Community Star Donald Glover has been able to say for a while. Because it was he who helped inspire Marvel Comics legend Brian Michael Bendis to create Miles Morales, aka Spider-Man in the “Ultimate” Marvel Universe.

And now, as USA Today reports, Donald Glover will get to live out a dream of being Spider-Man via voicing Miles Morales in an upcoming episode of the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon.

The third season of the show will feature alternate dimension versions of Spider-Man, including Miles Morales, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Man 2099, and even a new version of Spider-Girl.

Pretty cool huh? Let us know what you think about this in the comments below!
