SDCC2014: Marvel announces new Avengers and Angela books

During Marvel’s Avengers NOW! Panel two new books were announced for your reading consumption. The first is Captain America and the Mighty Avengers The series will not only replace the current Mighty Avengers run, but also sees Cap replaced with the new Sam Wilson Captain America. Written by Al Ewing with Luke Ross on art, the new book will see Spider-Man rejoining the team and will be out in November 2014.

The other new book is Angela: Asgard’s Assassin. This book will focus on Angela’s attempt to clean her slate after being cast out of the tenth realm, all while dealing with the fallout of the revelation that she is Thor and Loki’s sister. Kieron Gillen, Maguerite Bennett, Phil Jimenez and Stephanie Hans will handle creative duties. Look for this book to hit shops in November as well.
