Get ready for the new daily show

LISTEN: It’s episode 77 of Following the Nerd Podcast – “One, don’t you ever touch me again. Two, don’t you ever touch me again.”

October 28th, 2013 by Mad Dave Comments

Marc and Saxon are back on the air waves talking Nerd and nutty!

On this week’s show we’re joined in the studio by Ruth Strong, one of our few – but precious – female Nerds, or Nerdettes who will no doubt be keeping the guys in line. Sort of.

We’ll be talking about all the latest news from the world of the Nerdsphere, including Harrison Ford and Benedict Cumberbatch on the Graham Norton show and how they reacted when asked about Star Wars Episode VII, Micheal Bay being attacked on the set of Transfomers: Age of Extinction, Clark Gregg talking – but not much – about Coulson’s miraculous recovery from Loki’s spear and who will play Ant-man? Marvel may be close to making a choice…

All this and soooo much including our very own Big Phil Wilce who caught up withThe Original Darth Vader, Mr Dave Prowse last week and managed to grab him for a quick interview…

On top of all that we’ll have all the usual news and reviews as well as The Monday Movie Show’s Stuart going over the UK Box Office Top Tens. And Al, The Bald Gamer Dude, who’ll be talking about the next 10 in his countdown to the saddest TV moments of all time as voted by the FTN listeners & readers.

It’s packed, it’s fast but it’s gonna be fun…

I'm Mad Dave one of the team's growing collection of tabletop gaming nerds. I was raised on a healthy diet of TV like Blake 7, Doctor Who and Star Trek with a side of sword and sorcery / sc-fi movies and a large dollop of board games like Cluedo, RISK and Hero Quest. You know your a gaming nerd if: You bring toy soldiers to work? You bring toy soldiers to work and you work has nothing to do with toy soldiers? Most of you jackets / coats have dice in one of the pockets? You hate throwing away packaging because you know it's actually a ruined building or field generator? You have a collection of old packaging? You can find something relevant to your hobby i.e. books, magazines, figures etc in almost every room in your house? I no I'm a nerd because I've done all of the above, how many of these made you smile and nod yes to?
