On the show this week we have a lot of news from DC’s Suicide Squad movie, from plot details to casting problems, we’ll be covering the lot.

We also have a report from Batman vs Superman that covers what happens when comics’ two biggest icons go head to head.

Plus, will Lex be bald in the movie.., we may have a clue.

In other news, was George Lucas snubbed by Disney when they took over Star Wars?

Will Arrow return via the Lazarus Pit? Actor Stephen Amell says no…

And what is the deal with Fantastic Four as we’re hearing reports of execs being very worried, while comic legend Mark Millar says he’s confident in it…

Will Stewart and McKellan be back for X-Men: Apocalypse? We have the answer…

And will our favour tv show from the 90s be back? Yes Mulder and Scully may be on the case again…

We also have Stuart from the Monday Movie show who’ll be going through the week’s biggest movies plus he’ll be reviewing this weekend’s big movie Ex_Machina.

As always, I’m your host Marc and with me once more in the studio I have the man that loves nothing more than skulking around toys shops, except for maybe taking selfies after the gym. Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
