Actress Judy Greer, best known for her role as Kitty on ‘Arrested Development’, has told Variety that she will play Cornelia in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
The sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes, ‘Dawn’ will be directed by Matt Reeves with Andy Serkis returning as Caesar.
“It’s a very different kind of work than I’m used to,” Greer told the outlet. “I’m not going to be wearing Manolo Blahniks in this one,”. According to the story, Greer met with Reeves for the role of Cornelia after being encouraged by her 13 Going on 30 co-star (and “Rise” star) Andy Serkis.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is scheduled for release on May 23, 2014.
