Well, at last – although, to the surprise of no-one – we have confirmation that Bill Murray will be back for Ghostbusters III.
Speaking on The Greg Hill about the new movie coming in July, the one and only Dan Aykroyd, the heart of the Ghostbusters, had this to say: “We’ve shot our parts. Myself, Murray [Bill], Sigourney [Weaver], and Annie Potts, and it was really exciting working on this new idea, a new take on the story…”
So, that means that Ray, Peter, Dana and Janice – with Winston already confirmed – will ALL be in the movie.
Sadly, of course, Harold Ramis will not be back as Egon as he died a few years ago, although Aykroyd promises the movie will acknowledge him.
This is big news and the gang is back.
July cannot come fast enough.
