Vulture is reporting that Disney is in talks with Kenneth Branagh to direct a live-action adaptation of Cinderella.
Cate Blanchett is currently attached to play the wicked stepmother however production is still looking for an actress to play the title role. Filming is expected to start this Autumn in London.
The film will be produced by Simon Kinberg, with the script originally written by The Devil Wears Prada screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna but since revised by Twilight: New Moon director Chris Weitz.
