Bryan Singer tweets a quick tease of Quicksilver and maybe Scarlet Witch?

July 5th, 2013 by Edwin Torres Jr 1 Comment

I feel that this whole drama should have a name, maybe the casting wars. We know that both Joss Whedon and Bryan Singer will be using Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver in their respective superhero sequels. Fox will get to show him off first and they have cast Kick-Ass actor Evan Peters in the role, which many are saying amounts to one action sequence in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Meanwhile Quicksilver has yet to be cast in The Avengers 2 (rumors say Aaron Johnson, also of Kick-Ass), but it was Whedon who mentioned him first by hinting a brother and sister pair. The Avengers director has also gone on record as saying that the both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will have a huge role in his film. Oh yeah he’s also legally restricted from using the word mutant.

Let the games begin!

Well the above pic above tweeted by Singer, is the first actual photo tease of Quicksilver, or I should say his house. The fact that it’s a house makes me wonder if we’ll be seeing Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch as well?

I think this is getting blown out of portion quicksilver is going to be one of many heros on screen in days of futures past how much screen time could he really have. I was never into comic books when I was younger but the whole marvel cinematic universe just blows my mind I love reading about it so I don’t really know their orgins just what I read online and from one of my fav at FTN my comic book guru Edwin so if I’m wrong let me know but were quicksilver and sarlet witch in the pacific story they are using as the source material? Or were they important to the story. And I remember back in the 90’s they would show the animated xmen during primetime where they timetraveled with the help of bishop and rogue was getting married to gambit I think, is that the same comicbook they are drawning from? But DOFP has a lot of promise if it doesn’t just turn into a cameo festival
