Oh no… here we go again!

So, while the whole #ReleaseTheSnyderCut campaign continues on, with fans still pushing for the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League to be released after the Whedon cut of the movie failed to excite fans.

Well, now it’s all about to kick off again (well, maybe not) as Zack Snyder’s favourite cinematographer Larry Fong confirmed on Twitter that a director’s cut of Snyder’s 2011 movie Suckerpunch exists.

Now, the movie did have an extended home released, but it seems that yes, there is more of the movie out there unseen so far.

Now, I didn’t care much for Suckerpunch when I saw it on release in 2011, but on recently rewatching the extended cut, I must say, I really, really enjoyed it and the deeply layered story it actually is… so if you’ve not seen it lately, check it out.

Anyway, would a new cut of Suckerpunch get you excited? Let me know your thoughts, gang.

Check out Fong’s great work in the movie’s trailer:

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
