Colin Trevorrow has tweeted a new image from the set of Jurassic World, giving us our first glimpse at one of the dinosaurs from Jurassic World.
Well sort of, it’s only a shadow as opposed to a dinosaur itself, but still it’s our first look at the film’s non-human cast so there’s that.
It doesn’t look like a T-Rex. Could this be the “new dinosaur created by the park’s geneticists” that Trevorrow has confirmed will be in the film?
Jurassic World takes place 22 years after the first film.
Steven Spielberg returns to produce. Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure from a draft of the screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley join the team as fellow producers.
The cast includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, Vincent D’Onofrio, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus and BD Wong reprising his role from the first film as Dr. Henry Wu.
Jurassic World is set to open on June 12th, 2015.
