It looks like Daniel Craig could be returning to the role of James Bond one last time.
According to Page Six, the actor has been in talks with producer Barbara Broccoli who has “persuaded” the actor to play the character for a fifth film.
“They have a script – screenwriting duo Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are writing and they’ll go into production as soon as Daniel is ready to commit,” an unnamed source said. In light of this, they added that Broccoli has “just about persuaded Daniel Craig to do one more Bond movie“.
If this is true it marks a change in Craig’s thinking after he told Time Out magazine last year that he’d rather “slash my wrists” than play Bond again.
