Fantastic Four’s Dr. Doom role down to four actors

March 12th, 2014 by Edwin Torres Jr Comments

So we already know that Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell are set to play The Fantastic Four in director Josh Trank’s reboot. So now 20th Century Fox have turned their attention to the casting the film’s villain, Dr. Victor von Doom. The Wrap today reports that the field has been narrowed to four choices: Domhnall Gleeson (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2), Toby Kebbell (Wrath of the Titans), Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables) and Sam Riley (On the Road).

They add that several weeks ago Jack Huston was in the mix, though it’s unclear if he still is.

Josh Trank will direct the big screen adaptation from a screenplay by Simon Kinberg.

The Fantastic Four is currently set for a release on June 19th, 2015.
