First image of Jaimie Alexander’s Lady Sif on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

It was revealed last month that Jaimie Alexander would be reprising her Thor and Thor: The Dark World role of Lady Sif on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and now TV Guide has revealed the first image of Alexander from said episode.

The 15th episode of the series, titled “Yes Man,” will air on March 11. Executive producer Jed Whedon said they’ve been looking for additional ways to connect the series with the Marvel films since their initial Thor: The Dark World crossover episode in November:

“We always have our radar up for ways to tie our series into the Marvel films and bringing in an Asgardian really cements that connection. Lady Sif comes here on a hunting mission — sent by Odin — to find her arch-enemy Lorelei and bring her back to Asgard. It throws our agents for a loop when they find themselves in a fight right alongside this powerful woman from Thor’s world.”

Executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen says that the cast and crew were simply wowed:

“Jaimie walked onto the set in full Lady Sif regalia just as she looks in the movies — from the huge, mile-high boots to the metal armor — and she towered over everyone. It was so striking and impressive, all we could do was stare. It was very cool!”

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays at 8 P.M. on ABC.
