First look at older Caesar in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

The older Caesar is the first official still from Matt Reeve’s Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. It came with the note:

 “A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. Directed by Matt Reeves with a script from Scott Z. Burns, Amanda Silver, Rick Jaffa and Mark Bomback,  Dawn of the Planet of the Apes continues the story that began in 2011′s Rise of the Planet of the Apes and the cast includes Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo and Judy Greer.

The movie will be released on July 18th, 2014.
