Marvel has officially announced that comic character Victoria Hand will be making her debut on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” starting with next week’s episode titled “The Hub”. Played by actress Saffron Burrows (Troy), you can see the first images of Hand with Agent Coulson below.
Hand made her debut in The Invincible Iron Man #8 (2008) created by Brian Michael Bendis and Mike Deodato as a simple accountant for S.H.I.E.L.D.. She quickly rose up in the ranks and became deputy director of H.A.M.M.E.R., assistant to Norman Osborn (when he was in charge of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and eventually the liaison between S.H.I.E.L.D. and the New Avengers.
