Will Harley Quinn make an appearance in the forthcoming season 3 of Gotham?
That seems to be were we are headed after producer John Stephens recently teased that “we might see [her] in Episode 22″ after being asked the question during an interview with TV Guide.
Though he didn’t elaborate further in terms of the exact specifics of her role, he did mention that Harley’s appearance would serve a much larger purpose than a simple villainous cameo, as her arrival will act as a “launching point” for the upcoming season 4 storyline which would be “crazy”.
There was no mention of the actor assigned to play Quinn if she does appear, however while there has been plenty of speculation that former Jim Gordon love interest Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) would take up the mantle of the character, Richards herself has dismissed this notion.
Gotham returns tonight in the US on FOX.
