Harrison Ford on his reluctance to discuss Star Wars: Episode VII

April 17th, 2013 by Marc Comments

In a recent interview with USA Today, Harrison Ford again ducked any questions about his involvement with Star Wars: Episode VII.

When asked if he will indeed be returning to the role of Han Solo the actor simply stated: “I got nothing to say about that.”

It seems this is becoming a running theme when Ford is asked about Star Wars, though this time he did offer some reasoning for his reluctance to talk about the new entry into the Star Wars saga.

He said: “If someone says ‘Trust me,’ and it’s not a sushi chef in a sushi bar, I’m immediately suspicious. I’m not a faith-based actor.”

Ford has always been known as a very private person who doesn’t ever talk about his personal life in interviews and the article goes on to state that he “does not suffer fools or internet rumors gladly”, so I guess I can understand his not wanting to talk about Star Wars, especially given the fact that someone like ME is indeed a fool and has made a life here at FTN by spreading internet rumors.

I really do wish that we could drop all this pretense though as George Lucas has all but confirmed that the main trio will indeed be back for the film. I need some leaked plot details!
