Harrison Ford has officially joined the cast of Adam McKay’s Anchorman: The Legend Continues.
Ford’s role is said to be that of an esteemed new anchor, a part somewhat similar to the role he played in 2010’s Morning Glory.
Anchorman: The Legend Continues will begin production in Atlanta, Georgia, shortly, and is expected to hit theaters on December 20.
Ford joins the returning Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, David Koechner and Paul Rudd as well as fellow newcomers Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Dylan Baker and Meagan Good.
