A casting call for Man of Steel 2 has popped up online, offering up some potential details of the 2015 movie. It’s unclear how legitimate the casting call information is.
According to the casting call, Detroit will be the shooting location for Gotham City. While additional locations for Man of Steel 2 are said to include Toronto and Morocco. Could Morocco be where Kryptonite is found? Both Detroit and Morocco were mentioned previously by El Mayimbe of Latino Review as well.
The casting call notes that it’s a team up rather than a versus movie, but does note that writer David Goyer stated the title could be Superman vs. Batman or vice versa.
The Man of Steel sequel is being scripted by David S. Goyer from a story he co-created with director Zack Snyder. Ben Affleck is Batman. Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman in the film along with co-stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane. It is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2015 with production expected to begin in February of 2014
