Leaked images/video give first look at Alden Ehrenreich’s Han Solo and Woody Harrelson’s Beckett plus Chewie!

Here’s a pretty good look at the new Han Solo alongside his co-pilot and best friend, Chewbacca.

The two leaked images (and TMZ have a video too, so click the tweet below) show Alden Ehrenreich’s Han Solo and Woody Harrelson’s Beckett with Chewbacca and we’re pretty sure that’s Game of Thrones star Emila Clarke too.

Word is that this scene was filmed by the now departed directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller and not by new director Ron howard:

According to our friends at SWU: “The scene looks to be taking place in some sort of museum. There appears to be a bar of some sort off to the site in one of the shots, perhaps the museum is run/owned by Emilia Clarke’s character (assuming that is her). Clarke’s costume definitely evokes the look of Princess Leia in the Original Trilogy (again, assuming that is her) suggesting that she is of a more affluent background, while Harrelson definitely feels like an old smuggler. Ehrenreich, for his part, looks like Han. Hopefully this isn’t one of the scenes that Howard will reshoot.”

Award-winning filmmaker Ron Howard is now directing the movie after the departure of Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

The untitled young Han Solo film hits theaters on May 25th, 2018 and stars Alden Ehrenreich (Hail Caesar!) as Han Solo, Donald Glover (Atlanta) as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Woody Harrelson (True Detective) as Beckett, Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Thandie Newton (Westworld), and Michael K. Williams (The Wire). The film is scripted by Lawrence Kasdan (The Empire Strikes Back) and his son Jon Kasdan (The First Time).

The untitled Han Solo film is slated for a May 25, 2018, release.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
