Megan Fox has some not so polite advice for anyone not impressed with her being cast in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

August 3rd, 2014 by Marc Comments

Megan Fox is April O’Neill… deal with it folks, cos it’s happening.

Is what Megan Fox should probably have said when she talked to Cinema Blend about the role, but she went for the more, em, adult approach.

Asked how she felt about the backlash, she immediately went on the defensive and said: “Let me tell you something about those people. How much money did Transformers 4 make? Exactly. Those people can complain – they all go to the theater. They’re gonna love it – and if they don’t love it, they can f#@k off, and that’s the end of that.”

Now, ever since her casting was announced in February, the fans have done nothing but shout and complain and, right or wrong, it’s possible Fox is just at breaking point over the whole thing… but when TNMT co-creator Peter Laird has openly said he didn’t like her in the role, it is possible she’s had enough.

But, suggesting your fan base “F#@k off” is probably never the best idea… time will tell if she’ll suffer for that choice of words…

Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the film stars Megan Fox in the role of April O’Neil, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, Danny Woodburn as Master Splinter and William Fichtner as Shredder with Johnny Knoxville and Tony Shalhoub lending their voices to Leonardo and Splinter respectively.

Teenage Mutant ninja Turtles will hit theaters on August 8th, 2014

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
