Some disappointing news for Marvel and Disney+ fans as their live-action line-up seems to have been well and truly knocked off by that damned virus.
It all kicked off with a bit of confusion as The Hollywood Reporter reported that Wandavision, the Scarlet Witch and Vision series was pushed back to Spring 2021 “if things go as planned.”
However, soon after author Borys Kit retracted the report on Twitter when he was challenged on it, clarifying that it will appear in 2020 – presumably near the year’s end:
Along with this, we have more bad news for the Falcon and The Winter Soldier series which was actually due to arrive in August.
The show reportedly still has two weeks of filming to be completed, so it’s no surprise it’s not ready to launch.
The show was forced to pause production back in May because of the pandemic and as such there is currently no release date for it.
While various productions are starting to get back on track as the world begins to return to normal, it’s disappointing that, as it stands, there is no new Marvel content scheduled for Disney+ for the forseeable future.
Let me know your thoughts, gang.
