20th Century Fox has just unveiled the first poster for Alien: Covenant.
The film, by director Ridley Scott and his follow-up to Prometheus, no doubt leans heavily on H.R. Giger’s original Alien design, and ties the new film to the original films more so than Scott’s first prequel film.
The poster also boasts a new release date of May 2017 which is different to the original announcement of August the same year.
Michael Fassbender is the only returning cast member from Prometheus to have a substantial role in Alien: Covenant, as he is joined by a new cast that includes Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Billy Crudup, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Carmen Ejogo, and Callie Hernandez.
